Benton Copeland '24 Chapel Hill, North Carolina

Executive Director

Benton is double majoring in Economics and East Asian Languages and Literatures (Chinese). In addition to leading WLSC as an executive director, Benton serves as a Career Fellow and is involved Students Against Rockbridge Area Hunger. This past summer, Benton interned as a summer analyst at Insight Sourcing Group. He hopes to pursue a career in consulting after graduation.

Elizabeth Foster '24 Dallas, Texas

Executive Director

Elizabeth is majoring in Business Administration and Cognitive and Behavioral Science. In addition to serving as an executive director for WLSC, she is Vice President of the Casing Club and a Student Communications Fellow for the Williams School. Elizabeth has had internships in advertising account management and real estate human resources, with her most recent experience in consulting for Insight Sourcing Group. After graduation, she hopes to work in management consulting.

Diya Shreenath '24 Goldsboro, North Carolina

Executive Director

Diya is majoring in Accounting and pursuing a minor in Data Science. In addition to being a director of WLSC, she serves as the Treasurer of the Student Body, President of Omicron Delta Kappa, and as a University Ambassador (tour guide). She is also a member of Contact Committee, Diversified Capital Group, and Greek Life. She spent the last summer interning at Kearney in New York City working on a supply chain optimization project. After graduation, she will return full time to Kearney as a Business Analyst in their New York City Office.

John Adekola ’24 Chicago, Illinois

John is double majoring in Computer Science and Accounting. In addition to WLSC, he serves as Vice President for SAIL, a research associate/teaching assistant for the Sociology and Anthropology Department, and an analyst of the Diversified Capital Group. John interned at Ernst & Young in Chicago as a Launch Intern, and he looks forward to returning to Ernst & Young as a Technology Consultant in their Financial Services Organization.

Ammar Alhajmee ‘26 Diwaniyah, Iraq

Ammar is double majoring in Accounting and Computer Science, with a minor in German. In addition to WLSC, he serves as the President of Amnesty International, the Treasurer of the Student Association for International Learning (SAIL) and works with ITS Helpdesk. He is an International Student Mentor, an International Students Orientation Leader, and involved in Greek life. After graduation, Ammar hopes to pursue a career in accounting or consulting.

Ben Bankston '25 Forest, Virginia

Ben is majoring in Economics with a minor in Data Science. In addition to WLSC, he spends time as General Co-Chair for the First-Year Orientation Committee and a Peer Counselor. This past summer, Ben was a Business and Marketing Strategy intern at a solar energy startup in Santiago, Chile. In the summer of 2024, he will be interning for Bain & Company in their Atlanta office.

Em Becker '24 Floral Park, New York

Em is majoring in Business Administration and minoring in Mass Communications. In addition to being a team lead for WLSC, she is a University Ambassador, a 24 representative, and a member of the Women's Cross Country and Track & Field teams. She is also the co-Director of Campus Outreach for the organization Girls Who Consult. Last summer she interned for Bain & Company in their Atlanta office and will be returning following graduation.

Matt Bell ’24 Colts Neck, New Jersey

Matt is a double major in Economics and Spanish. In addition to WLSC, he is a member of the Contact Committee, is the chairman of the Guam delegation of Mock Convention, and directs alumni relations for his fraternity. This past summer, he interned in Piper Sandler's New York office and will be returning there post-graduation.

John Benner '25 McLean, Virginia

John is an Economics major with minors in Classics and Data Science, and a pitcher for the Generals baseball team. He is a licensed pharmacy technician and has worked two summers as a Pharmacy Operations Intern at a venture-backed digital health startup for medically complex seniors. When he is not studying, working, or training for baseball, John enjoys fly-fishing and studying the use of analytics in professional sports.

Jack Booth '26 Boulder, Colorado

Jack is majoring in Business Administration. At W&L, Jack is a men's lacrosse team member and participates in a work-study program with the athletic communications department. Last summer, Jack worked as a marketing intern for the private travel company, Exclusive Resorts. Jack hopes to pursue a career in consulting or marketing after W&L.

Barrett Bourgeois '25 Chesapeake, Virginia

Barrett is double majoring in Business Administration and Computer Science. In addition to WLSC, he serves as an ambassador for the Navy SEAL Foundation and as the social chair for his fraternity. Barrett has interned with the Navy SEAL Foundation as a Special Projects Manager.

Carlton Bragg '24 Huntersville, North Carolina

Carlton is majoring in Accounting. In addition to WLSC, He is an Appalachian Adventure trip leader and a hearing advisor. This past summer, he interned at a boutique logistics consulting firm in Arlington, VA. He hopes to start his career in management consulting upon graduation.

Will Braxton '25 Saratoga Springs, New York

Will is pursuing a major in Integrated Engineering with Computer Science and a minor in Entrepreneurship. In addition to WLSC, he is a member of the Varsity Golf Team, the Engineering Community Development Club, and the Fly-Fishing Club. In his first year, he was named to the ODAC All-Conference team and to the President's List for his academic performance. Will hopes to explore a career in engineering or consulting.

Darby is double majoring in Accounting and Environmental Studies.

Anna Connolly '25 Dallas, Texas

Anna is double majoring in Accounting and Spanish. In addition to WLSC, she serves as the Director of Communications for Mock Convention. Anna interned at Sidley Austin LLP in Dallas working in the Marketing and Business Development departments and will be working at Houlihan Lokey in New York this coming summer. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in investment banking.

Caroline Conway '24 Dallas, Texas

Caroline is double majoring in Business Administration and Molecular/Cell Biology. In addition to WLSC, she is a member of the Promise Committee and the First Year Orientation Committee. Last summer she worked as an intern at Sloan Investment Management. After graduation she hopes to pursue a career in management consulting.

Janae Darby ’25 Stafford, Virginia

Janae is pursuing a major in economics and minors in Middle East & South Asia studies and poverty & human capability studies. Outside of WLSC, she is involved with the Student Environmental Action League, Kathekon, and the University Ambassadors. She is also a recruitment counselor this year.

Josh Darrow ‘26 Virginia Beach, Virginia

Josh is a Johnson Scholar majoring in Economics. Outside of WLSC, he can be found tutoring calculus and econometrics in the Harte Center, leading the tenor section in the University Singers, arguing case theory on the Mock Trial team, or giving a tour as a University Ambassador. Josh completed an accounting internship at Studio Center last summer and is exploring careers in economics, finance, or business journalism.

Tom Finnegan ’26 Washington, New Jersey

Tom is double majoring in Economics and Environmental Studies. In addition to his involvement with WLSC, Tom is a Johnson Scholar and holds leadership positions in Campus Kitchen, the Library Student Advisory Board, and the Student Environmental Action League Outreach Executive. He also works as a research assistant, focusing on amphibian ecology under the guidance of Dr. Marsh. During the past summer, Tom gained valuable experience as a summer research scholar working with Dr. Marsh. With a strong passion for consulting, he aspires to pursue a career in the field after graduation.

Caroline Foster ’25 Princeton, New Jersey

Caroline is majoring in English with minors in Entrepreneurship and Women, Gender, and Sexuality Studies. In addition to WLSC, Caroline is a member of the Women's Lacrosse Team, a member of General's Repair Club, and on the Board of Duck's Unlimited. Last summer Caroline worked for a startup boutique in Princeton, NJ, focusing on building the new business through expanding their media presence and clientele base. After graduation, Caroline hopes to pursue a career in consulting with a focus on marketing strategy and/or new product development.

Oskar Freiherr von Mandelsloh ’24 Meiling, Germany

Oskar is double majoring in Economics and Global Politics, as well as minoring in Data Science. In addition to WLSC, he works In the Athletics Communications Office and is a teaching assistant in the Economics department. This past summer, he interned at Analysis Group, an economic consulting firm, where he will return to upon graduation.

Jackson Fricke ’25 Dallas, Texas

Jackson is pursuing a major in Accounting and minor in Data Science. In addition to WLSC, he is a University Ambassador and Tour-Based Events Co-Chair for the First Year Orientation Committee's Executive Team. Jackson interned at PepsiCo as a Foodservice Distribution Sales Intern. Jackson hopes to explore a career in business strategy, consulting, or investment banking.

Brody Grant ‘26 Chattanooga, Tennessee

Brody is double majoring in Politics and American History with a minor in Law, Justice, Society. Outside of WLSC, he serves as President for his fraternity, the Kappa Alpha Order, and was recruited for the General's Football Team as an offensive lineman. Brody serves as a member on The General's Community Sport Outreach volunteering in the Rockbridge Community, and previously served as a Jr. Ambassador for the American Cancer Society's Real Men Wear Pink. After graduation, he plans on attending law school.

Rebecca Hoffman ‘26 Dallas, Texas

Rebecca is studying Cognitive and Behavioral Science, Mass Communications, and Poverty Studies. In addition to WLSC, she serves as a Student Tour Guide, Social Impact Chair and Weinstein Scholar to the Hillel board, Hearing Advisor, Volunteer Venture Pre-Orientation Leader, Fundraising Chair of the Brain Exercise Initiative, and is affiliated with the Alpha Delta Pi Sorority. Rebecca has also participated in Quantum Computing research and hopes to explore and pursue a career in consulting.

Dalton Jobe ’26 Henrico, Virginia

Dalton is pursuing a major in Accounting with a minor in Data Science. In addition to WLSC, Dalton is a member of the Men's Varsity Swimming Team and a member of the Phi Kappa Psi fraternity. After college, Dalton hopes to pursue a career in consulting or business analytics.

Will Joseph '26 Wilmette, Illinois

Will is double majoring in Accounting and Classics. Outside of the classroom, he's the goalkeeper for the men's soccer team and is also a team captain. Will has been named All-Region for his success on the field and awarded the Elite 90 Award for his academic success off the field. Back home in the Chicago Land Area, Will has ventured into various entrepreneurial ventures, including a childcare business and soccer camp. After graduation, Will is looking to get into investment banking.

Will Kistler ’25 Charlottesville, Virginia

Will is majoring in Economics and minoring in Philosophy. In addition to WLSC, he is a captain of the men's tennis team, a representative of the 24 student-athlete group, and a member of Phi Eta Sigma National Honor Society. Last summer, Will interned for a real estate firm in Barcelona, Spain. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career in consulting or investment banking.

Travis Mann ’26 Dallas, Texas

Travis is pursuing a double major in Accounting and Environmental Studies. In addition to WLSC, he is a co-president of the Cycling Club, a member of Crux Climbing, and involved in Greek life. Travis earned a spot on the President's List during his first year. This past summer, he interned at TAS Environmental Services, understanding accounting and project management. After graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in investment banking or consulting.

Jack Maroon '26 Minneapolis, Minnesota

Jack is majoring in Business Administration and is on the pre-med track. In addition to WLSC, Jack works with the Office of Health Promotion and is involved in W&L Effective Altruism, Washingtonian Society, and Campus Kitchen.

Austin McBride '26 Boonton, New Jersey

Austin is majoring in Computer Science and minoring in Data Science and Entrepreneurship. In addition to WLSC, Austin is a research assistant to the Florence As It Was team, who use 3-D maps and models to map Florence as it was in the 15th century. He focused on optimizing and redesigning the user interface of 3-D models and the website for the Florence As It Was project.

Tshering Mendrel '26 Thimphu, Bhutan

Tshering Mendrel is double majoring in Economics and Computer Science. In addition to WLSC, he is a part of the Diversified Capital Group, he works as an Office assistant at the Office of Inclusion and Engagement, he is an OIE representative for Student Affairs, and a South Asian Student Association member. After Graduation, Mendrel hopes to pursue a career in Consulting.

Sam Moore '25 Colorado Springs, Colorado

Samuel is majoring in Economics and minoring in Data Science and Mathematics. In addition to WLSC, he is an Outing Club staff member, Economics Department research assistant, Reformed University Fellowship student leader, and involved in Greek life. This past summer, he performed economics research on-campus, evaluating the effectiveness of the Paycheck Protection Program. After graduation, Samuel plans to pursue a PhD in economics.

Campbell Musslewhite ‘26 Washington, DC

Campbell is double majoring in Business Administration and Environmental Studies and minoring in Studio Art. In addition to WLSC, Campbell is the DC State Chair for Mock Convention, serves on the University Sustainability Committee, and plays club squash. Last summer, Campbell was a wilderness trip leader for Kieve Wavus Education and led an 18 day canoeing trip.

Luke Nagel '25 Philadelphia, Pennsylvania

Luke is majoring in Engineering with a minor in Data Science. Apart from WLSC, Luke is on the swim team and a state chair for Mock Convention. This past summer, he worked as a summer analyst at Leaf & Grain in Houston. Luke is interested in pursuing a career in management consulting after graduation.

Porter Neubauer ’25 Belvedere, Tennessee

Porter is double majoring in Sociology and Environmental Studies (Environmental Economics track). In addition to WLSC, he is a Johnson Scholar with President's List academic distinction, a University Ambassador, and an active member of the W&L Outing Club. Porter managed youth outdoor programming and the aquatic facility at the Monteagle Sunday School Assembly. After graduation, he plans to pursue a career in either consulting or NGO work.

Giang Nguyen ’24 Hanoi, Vietnam

Giang is double majoring in Business Administration and Environmental Studies. In addition to WLSC, she currently works as an assistant for the Office of Inclusion and Engagement at W&L. She spent last summer interning at Deutsche Bank and looks forward to returning there full time.

Linh Nguyen ’25 Hanoi, Vietnam

Linh is majoring in Business Administration. In addition to WLSC, she is a member of the Diversified Capital Group, an International Student Mentor, and an Office Assistant for Student Affairs. She worked as a financial risk consulting intern for KPMG Vietnam and as a summer analyst for a local investment bank. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in investment banking.

Michael Ott ’24 West Newbury, Massachusetts

Michael is majoring in Accounting and minoring in Classics. In addition to WLSC, he is member of the Men's Lacrosse team and a Career Fellow in the CPD office. Last summer, Michael interned at Houlihan Lokey's Aerospace, Defense, and Government practice, where he will return next year as an Investment Banking Analyst.

Clay Overholt ’24 Nashville, Tennessee

Clay is double majoring in Geology and American History. In addition to WLSC, he is a leader in Students Against Rockbridge Area Hunger (SARAH) and is an executive member of Washington and Lee's Ducks Unlimited chapter. This past summer he interned at an Oil and Gas consulting firm in Knoxville, TN, and he hopes to continue a career in energy consulting following graduation.

Jordynn Palethorpe ’24 Barrington, Rhode Island

Jordynn is pursuing a dual major in Business Administration and Sociology & Anthropology with a minor in Poverty & Human Capability Studies. In addition to WLSC, Jordynn is Rhode Island State Chair for Mock Convention, Captain of the Women's Track & Field team, and President of her Greek organization. Following graduation, Jordynn will be working as a Consulting Analyst for Insight Sourcing in Atlanta, GA.

Max Patterson '26 Mission Hills, Kansas

Max is pursuing a double major in Accounting and English. In addition to WLSC, Max is a Peer Counselor, Hearing Advisor, Writing Tutor, and is involved in Greek Life. Max also works as an associate in the Mail Center and trains with the Club Swim Team. After graduation, Max hopes to pursue a career in consulting or wealth management.

Mitchell Patterson '26 San Antonio, Texas

Mitchell is double majoring in Accounting and Spanish. In addition to WLSC, he is a Young Life leader on campus, an assistant for the Student Affairs office, as well as an active member of the W&L Outing Club. Mitchell hopes to explore a career in consulting, investment management, or private equity.

Bianca Pham '26 Hanoi, Vietnam

Bianca is double majoring in Computer Science and Economics. In addition to WLSC, Bianca serves as an Event Coordinator of the Student Association for International Learning (SAIL), a teaching assistant for the Computer Science department, and an associate of the Outing Club. She spent last summer researching how to manage people's data post-bereavement on platforms such as NFT wallets and Cryptocurrency platforms.

Kameron Saalfrank ’25 North Andover, Massachusetts

Kameron is majoring in Accounting with minors in Archaeology and Data Science. In addition to WLSC, he serves as a state chair for Mock Convention, an advisor for AdClass, and an executive board member for the General Activities Board. He is also involved on campus as a Career Fellow and a University Ambassador. This past summer, he interned for a healthcare real-estate firm in Charlottesville, and plans to intern at FTI Consulting in their Office of the CFO practice this upcoming summer.

Margaret Schweppe ‘26 Shelby, North Carolina

Margaret Schweppe is pursuing a double major in German and Business Administration. In addition to WLSC, Margaret is a LEAD Program participant, a WLUR radio show host, a member of the Outing Club, and a member of Generals Activity Board.

Patrick Solcher ‘26 Houston, Texas

Patrick is majoring in Economics with minors in Data Science and Poverty and Human Capability Studies. On campus, Patrick is a Bonner scholar, a member of the Contact Committee, and on the executive team of English for Speakers of Other Languages (ESOL). This summer, Patrick will work at a summer camp for children with neurological differences.

Jackson Stokes ’25 Mebane, North Carolina

Jackson is majoring in Economics and minoring in Data Science. In addition to WLSC, he serves on the leadership council for "Best Buddies," is a member of the Executive Committee of the Pi Kappa Phi fraternity and plays safety on the varsity football team. Jackson interned at Duke University as a Learning and Organizational Development Consultant. This summer, Jackson will be working at Berkeley Research Group in DC as an Economics and Data Analytics intern.

Jaeya Taxali ’26 Herndon, Virginia

Jaeya is majoring in Business Administration and Sociology & Anthropology, with a minor in Poverty and Human Capability Studies. In addition to WLSC, Jaeya is a Johnson Scholar, Hearing Advisor, Cantatrice Choir Singer, South Asian Student Association member, and Housing Director of her sorority. After graduation, Jaeya hopes to pursue a career in strategy consulting.

Julia Thomson ’24 Larchmont, New York

Julia is majoring in Businesses Administration and minoring in Poverty and Human Capability Studies. In addition to WLSC, she is a member of the women's lacrosse team. This past summer, she interned at Insight Sourcing, a boutique sourcing and procurement consulting company in Atlanta, GA. She will be returning to Insight Sourcing after graduation.

Declan Treacy '25 Issaquah, Washington

Declan is majoring in Accounting and minoring in Data Science and Computer Science. In addition to WLSC, Declan is in Phi Eta Sigma (National Honor Society), Vice President of the Philosophy of Religion Club, Generals Wrestling Team, the W&L Options Trading Club , Crypto and Technical Analysis Club, and a W&L Blockchain Society member. After graduation, Declan plans to pursue a career in consulting or investment banking.

Mark Troni '26 Littleton, Colorado

Mark is majoring in Accounting and minoring in Computer Science. In addition to WLSC, he serves as a member of the Men's Wrestling team. He also works as an intramural coordinator for Campus Rec. Last summer, Mark interned for Kiewit Corporation, helping to generate financial reports and ensure quality data. After graduation, he hopes to pursue a career in consulting or investment banking.

Sambridhi Tuladhar '25 Kathmandu, Nepal

Sambridhi is majoring in Accounting with a minor in Data Science. In addition to WLSC, she is a member of the Diversified Capital Group, Nabors Service League, and the South Asian Student Association. After graduation, she hopes to pursue a career in investment banking or consulting.

Anna Udassi '25 Karachi, Pakistan

Anna is a double major in Neuroscience and Business Administration. In addition to WLSC, she is involved with the Diversified Capital Group and South Asian Student Association.

Gabrielle Ursin '25 Byram, New Jersey

Gabrielle is double majoring in Philosophy and Earth and Environmental Geoscience. In addition to WLSC, she is on the Women's Soccer Team, a commissioner for the Student Election Commission, a Generals Earth Action Leader, and an ambassador for the OneLove Foundation. Gabrielle conducted anthropology research on the effects of school desegregation on African Americans in Southwest Virginia as a Leyburn Scholar. She hopes to pursue a career in ESG.

Nisha Walvekar '26 Pune, India

Nisha is double majoring in Computer Science and Environmental Studies. In addition to WLSC, she works for the Rockbridge Report and is a member of SEAL. After graduation, she plans to pursue a career in climate tech.

Kevin Warren '26 Westfield, New Jersey

Kevin is majoring in Engineering and minoring in Entrepreneurship. In addition to WLSC, he is a member of the Men's Varsity Swimming Team. After graduation, Kevin hopes to pursue a career in engineering or management consulting.

Trip Wright '25 Cincinnati, Ohio

Trip is majoring in Sociology and Anthropology with minors in Poverty Studies and Data Science. In addition to WLSC, Trip is a Johnson Scholar, Logistics Chair of Contact Committee, a University Ambassador, a member of the W&L University Singers, a peer counselor, involved in Greek life, and plays on the Club Squash team. Trip conducted economics research on campus, investigating the future of work. After graduation, Trip hopes to pursue a career in strategy consulting.
