Internships and Study Abroad
The Williams School coordinates Washington and Lee's eight-week program that combines classroom study and internships with firms in and around London. Students are matched with businesses and not-for-profits based upon their professional interests. In addition to the internship and classes, students have opportunities to network with Washington and Lee alumni who work in several industries. Due to the ongoing global uncertainty surrounding the COVID-19 pandemic, we have made the decision to suspend the W&L London Internship Program for summer 2022. Decisions for summer 2023 will likely not be made until fall 2022.
Students participating in the Internship and Study Semester in Asia Pacific (ISSAP) will earn 15 credits by completing the following: Four 3-credit hour courses over an 8-week period (two courses per 4-week period) in Sydney, Australia and a seven week 3-credit hour (unpaid) internship.
