Aetna

If you are enrolled in the university's health insurance, create/login to your online account with Aetna, click on Health & Wellness, then on Health and Wellness Discounts for savings on a variety of expenses, including eye care, fitness, weight management, dental care, and nutrition services.

Athletics Facilities Employees can use the Fitness Center, weight room, pool, and courts. Employees can also obtain a guest access card by contacting Denise Bashlor in Athletics for dependent children over 14 and for a domestic partner or spouse. There is a charge of $5 for the guest access card. Reach out to Patti Colliton if you are interested in touring the fitness center.
Banks Atlantic Union Bank, Truist, and Wells Fargo offer reduced and/or free services to W&L employees and Virginia Credit Union offers services with a $5 Membership.

Employee Continuing Education Program The University offers an employee continuing education program for work-related certification or license and educational opportunities at accredited institutions. Consideration will be made for employees seeking to obtain a college level degree, attend educational courses not leading to a degree, or to attend educational courses in preparation for work-related certification or license. Funds may be available for courses that will benefit the employee in their current position, improve job skills, or position the employee for advancement opportunities at the University.
Employee Resource Groups (ERGs)

Voluntary, employee-led groups, with the goal of fostering a diverse and inclusive workplace in line with the mission and values of W&L. You're a member of the Newcomers group for three years. Join us for events to meet other newcomers and learn about W&L and the surrounding area. Join our Facebook Group to stay informed!

Lenfest Center (performing arts)

Tickets are required for most events, but reduced admission is available for most performances. Contact Rena Cromer at x8001 or visit lenfest.wlu.edu.
