Curriculum Vitae

Benedikt Wick conducts research on behavioral finance and investments. Before becoming a professor, he held senior positions in the capital markets departments of major European financial institutions, with assignments in Frankfurt, Hong Kong, and Singapore. Dr. Wick is a Chartered Financial Analyst, a Fulbright Scholar, and a member of both the American and European Finance Associations, as well as the CFA Society of New York. Professor Wick was awarded a PhD in Finance from Florida International University, where he also taught advanced courses in bank management. His scholarly contributions have been published in the Journal of Banking & Finance.

Professor Wick has presented his findings at the World Finance Conference in Italy and Norway, the Financial Management Association in Chicago and Atlanta, the Academy of Behavioral Finance & Economics in Los Angeles, the Eastern Finance Association, the Southwestern Finance Association in Houston, the Florida Finance Conference, and the World Finance & Banking Symposium in Miami.
