Talk Title: Can Corporations Be Morally Responsible?

Sandra Reiter joined Washington and Lee University’s Department of Business Administration in 2006 as an Assistant Professor of Business. It was her first academic appointment after completing her PhD at the University of Washington. Prior to her academic career, she had an extensive career in the aerospace industry, first as an engineer and later as a manager, and ending her time in industry at Honeywell International Corporation. She teaches a variety of courses that focus on the ethics and justice of and in the international commercial environment, including business ethics, economic globalization, ethics of globalization, and business operation’s effect on the natural environment. Her main area of research is business justice with a focus on international business. She is interested in the institutional structure of the economic order and questions of fairness, particularly as they relate to business.
