How do I change my W&L Network Password?

To get started, please log in to the W&L My Apps page by going to https://okta.wlu.edu/. The My Apps page (powered by Okta) provides convenient access to a range of university applications, as well as tools to manage your password.

1. In the upper right corner, click on the drop-down button next to your name, then click "settings".

2. Click on the green "edit profile" button, then verify your current password.

3. Using the "change password" section:

  • Enter your current password.

  • Enter a new password, paying attention to the password requirements provided.

  • Finally, click the "change password" button.

Now that you have a new password.

Be sure to use your new password when accessing the campus wireless network (EDUROAM), email, and calendar apps for all your devices. You may need to "forget" the network settings on your devices to effectively enter your new password. To learn how to forget a network, visit our How To page here.

How often do I have to change my password?

To promote a safe networking environment, W&L faculty, staff, and students are required to change their password at least once each year. See also guidelines for safe passwords on the Safe Computing page.
