Can I receive computer funds when school is not in session?
No. You can apply for computer funding after July 1 and until May 1 each year but funding is only released from the Business Office between September 10 and May 15. Please be aware that each Class has a December 1 deadline for final funding.


Can I purchase a computer that costs more than $1,200? 
You can purchase a computer for any amount but the grant funding is limited to $1,200. Any approved computer request in excess of $1,200 will be funded at $1,200.


How many times can I request computer funding?
You are allowed only one computer adjustment for the four years. Please plan accordingly. If you need an additional computer you will have the option to borrow under the W&L student loan program.


If I am an international student do I receive additional funding for Health Insurance?
No, Health Insurance is built into your finanical aid paacage and you will not receive additional funds.


Can I request a shuttle for a time period that is not scheduled? Will it be funded?
Yes. You will need to get it preapproved by the finanical aid office and it will need to be due to an emergency or some justifiable situation. 


Do I have to pay for the shuttle when I use it?
No. Just sign up for the shuttle durign the normally scheduled times, and ride the shuttle. You will be billed on your student account, but the finanical aid office will increase your grant to cover the cost. It does sometimes take a few weeks to make this adjustment as we do not recive the notice of who has use the shuttle until after each month.
