Profile Page Primer

  1. Log in to Ingeniux at http://ingeniux.wlu.edu. We recommend using Firefox (or really any browser other than Internet Explorer).
    • If you do not manage websites in Ingeniux, you will be taken directly to the Profiles section of the content management system.
    • If you do manage websites, click on Profiles at the top of the site tree, right under the Content Store.
  2. In the Directory Search box, enter the first three letters of the last name of the employee.
  3. Click on the name of the profile you wish to edit.
  4. Make any changes necessary in the profile form.
    • To enter a link to a professional website or blog maintained by the faculty or staff member, type or paste the full URL of the website into the website URL field. Include http://
    • To upload a new C.V., click the "Upload CV" button and browse to locate the new version of the C.V. (Please note that the system only accepts PDF documents. If the C.V. is in Word, please convert it before you upload.) Click "Upload."
    • To change a headshot thumbnail, click "Upload Profile Picture" and browse to locate the new photo you wish you use. Click "Upload."
    • Click on the photo and drag your curser to select a portion of the photo to crop for the small square thumbnail image. Click "Crop" and then "Finish".
    • To change a headshot photo, click "Upload Profile Picture" and browse to locate the new photo you wish you use. Click "Upload."
    • Click on the photo and drag your curser to select a portion of the photo to crop for the larger rectangular headshot image. Click "Crop" and then "Finish".
    • If you wish to add headings to your profile that are not among those provided, type the heading name in one of the "Miscellaneous Section Heading" fields and enter the related information in the Miscellaneous Section field below the heading.
  5. When you are finished with your changes, click "Save Changes." Your changes will publish automatically.
