Washington and Lee University's Office of Career and Professional Development contributes directly to the University's mission by supporting and empowering undergraduate students to achieve their career and professional goals. Through collaborative partnerships we provide innovative, customized, high-quality career-related services, programming and advising in a way that reflects the rich traditions and values of the University.

Location and Hours

The Office of Career and Professional Development is located on the third floor of the John W. Elrod University Commons building, directly above the University Bookstore. Our office hours are Monday - Friday 8:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Appointments

Career advising appointments can be scheduled with Career Advisors and Career Fellows on Handshake.

2022-23 Career Fellows

Career Fellows are peer career advisors trained to introduce students to Career and Professional Development resources, help create and refine resumes and cover letters, and provide tips for navigating the job or internship search.
