Tierney E. Wolgemuth, B.S., Class of 2016 Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award Biography

Tierney is from Lancaster, Pennsylvania, and is a biochemistry major with a minor in Latin American and Caribbean Studies. During her W&L career, Tierney has served as chair of Traveller, a member of the Leadership Education and Development Team, and a trip leader for the Appalachian Adventure in our Leading Edge Pre-Orientation program. Tierney is a member of the Outing Club and Chi Omega. She volunteered in the community with both the Rockbridge Area Health Center and as a tutor for ESOL, English for speakers of Other Languages. Having received her B.S. degree, she will begin her pursuit of both medical degree and a Master of Public Health at the University of Pittsburgh.
