Shiri Yadlin, B.A., Class of 2012 Algernon Sydney Sullivan Award Biography

Shiri, a native of Irvine, CA, graduates with majors in religion and politics and a minor in poverty and human capability studies. She is a recipient of a Johnson Scholarship, the Stadler Bullard First-Year Prize, the Wood Second-Year Prize, the Religion Department Rising Senior Prize, and the Ingrid Easton Student Visionary Award. She has been inducted into the Phi Eta Sigma first-year honor society, Omicron Delta Kappa, and Phi Beta Kappa. She has been involved in Campus Kitchen, Volunteer Venture Pre-Orientation, General's Christian Fellowship, and the General Admission a cappella group and is a Bonner Leader. She served on the 2012 Mock Convention Speaker's Committee and the Student Recruitment Committee. Shiri is a recipient of a Fulbright Fellowship and will be teaching English in Austria next year.
