Conflicting Courses Two Sections That Meet at Overlapping Times
The system will not allow you to register for two courses that meet at the same time.
Since the software can't discern your intent in the case of a conflict, no registration requests will go through when there is a conflict and you try to 'Register'.
Planned conflicts require a paper override approval signed off by the instructor of one conflicting section.
The strategy would be to register online for the most important course so you don't lose the seat, and then get the paper Registration Override form to approve the registration into the second course. For example, if you wish to take Chorus and it begins before your science lab ends, then register into the science course immediately, and obtain a paper override to be registered into Chorus. Turn the form into the University Registrar's office within normal registration deadlines.
