To create needed additional physical education and athletics space in the Warner Center and replace the obsolete, 25-meter Cy Twombly Pool, the Board of Trustees has approved planning for construction of a new natatorium, or aquatics facility, in a hillside next to the School of Law. The existing pool in the Warner Center would be transformed for other uses. The natatorium would contain a 40-meter pool, locker rooms, a wet classroom and spectator seating, while allowing increased opportunities for swim team practice, physical education instruction and recreation.
