Facilities Service Center

The Facilities Service Center is the heart of University Facilities. Using a computerized maintenance management system, our Customer Service Specialists communicate the needs of the Washington and Lee University community to our professional staff of custodial services, tradespeople, health and safety professionals, and construction managers.

Office Hours: Monday through Friday: 7:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m.

Space and Relocation Requests

If you have an immediate request for additional space to accommodate changing program needs, or if you wish to request a space change, please reach out to the University Architect or the Interior Designer for assistance.

Faculty Housing

The university maintains several apartments and houses that are administered by The College and managed by University Facilities. The units are available only for Washington and Lee University faculty.

Design Services

University Facilities Interior Designer provides assistance to campus clients in the coordination and procurement of furniture, signage, window treatments, and finish selections for small renovations and new construction projects of all ranges and sizes. Our mission is to create a sense of equality and inclusiveness while adhering to applicable building codes and regulations.

Capital Budget Requests

Capital Requests may be entered in the Capital Request system year round. A budget call letter for capital projects is issued in early October of each year to all departments, who are required to submit their capital requests for the coming year. Budget requests are due in early November.
