Environmental Health & Safety provides oversight in the area of worker safety and health; manages the university's local, state, and federal responsibilities for safety and health compliance, and reporting requirements (OSHA); manages the university's local, state, and federal responsibilities for environmental compliance, reporting, and permitting (EPA & DEQ); and is responsible for fire safety.
The Employee Right-to-Know workplace safety brochure provides Washington and Lee University employees with important information regarding the safe use of chemical substances.
