Piper is a resident in the Counseling Center, having recently earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health counseling through Wake Forest University and officially joins the University Counseling Center this fall 2024, having interned at W&L in 2023 and previously worked as a grief counselor at Hospice. Piper’s professional interests include grief counseling, anxiety and depression, adjustment issues, diversity and inclusion, and autism. Using her background in theatre performance, Piper integrates creative modalities into her work and pulls from multiple approaches including gestalt, narrative, and existential. In her free time, Piper enjoys baking, gardening, reading, and singing.
