Jessica is a Licensed Professional Counselor who partnered with the University Counseling Center in 2023. Jessica and her family moved to Lexington in 2021 from Austin, Texas. She has been running a private practice since 2012 and continues to work with Texas clients virtually and with local clients here in Lexington. She has had experience working in a marriage/relationship-focused counseling center, employee assistance program, and an opiate addiction clinic. Clinically, she often makes use of Accelerated Experiential Dynamic Psychotherapy, Internal Family Systems, and Somatic Experiencing to address therapeutic issues with clients. Her clinical interests are relationship/interpersonal issues, somatic/body-focused work, identity exploration, grief and loss, emotion regulation, anxiety and depression, and substance abuse.
