Where May Our Wedding Guests Park?
There are two lots close to the Chapel. One is the Visitor's Lot, which has 14 spaces. Immediately adjacent is the Corral Lot for faculty and staff. This lot is available to visitors on the weekend and should provide sufficient parking space for your guests. If both of these lots are full and there is no street parking, you may park in the University's Parking Garage. (Stay on Jefferson; cross Washington Street; turn right onto Nelson; go through the light at Lee Street; drive past Gaines Hall on your right; the Lenfest Center will be on your left; turn right on Denny Circle and proceed into the parking garage.
May We Reserve Parking Spaces For Guests?
The University Security Office does not reserve parking spaces for weddings. However, if there is an extenuating circumstance, a single space may be reserved by contacting Mac Testerman, Associate Director of Public Safety, at (540) 458-8937 or email at dtesterman@wlu.edu to make a special request. If he is not available, call or e-mail Ethan Kipnes, Director of Public Safety, at 540-458-8427 or ekipnes@wlu.edu.
Does the University Chapel Have Handicap-Accessible Parking?
There are two handicap parking spaces in the Visitors Lot. These are close, but not adjacent, to the Chapel. A sidewalk leads up to the main doors of the building, which is accessible on the main floor.
