Investments Trip

Career and Professional Development's annual New York Investments Trip allows students to better understand careers in finance, accounting and consulting. Every spring, John Jensen, Dean of Career and Professional Development, takes 20 sophomores to New York for an intensive look at different career options. Past firm visits include Goldman Sachs, Morgan Stanley, Ernst & Young, JP Morgan, Wells Fargo, Deloitte, Bloomberg News, Bank of America/Merrill Lynch, Deutsche Bank, Marcus & Millichap, Och-Ziff, the New York Stock Exchange, Citigroup, SunTrust and Lincoln International. In addition to visiting firms, an evening reception allows the students to interact with W&L's New York based alumni.

Given the nature of the job market, it is imperative that students understand their options well before their junior year. The New York Investments Trip gives the selected students the perfect opportunity.
