Curriculum Vitae

Professor Daunt joins the faculty of the Williams School at W&L in 2023, with her Ph.D. in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management from the University of Pittsburgh. Focusing on the intersection of Entrepreneurship and Gender, Professor Daunt investigates the gender gap in early-stage entrepreneurial funding. Her research employs a mixed-methods approach, leveraging archival and experimental data to gain comprehensive insights.

Prior to pursuing her Ph.D., Professor Daunt gained industry experience in the San Francisco Bay Area, working with several technology and biotech companies ranging from startups to well-established corporations. This involvement combined with her research has provided insights found both in her papers and her classrooms. She has experience teaching courses in Entrepreneurship and Strategic Management.
