Jenny joined the Shepherd Program staff in 2008 after graduating from Washington and Lee with a B.A. in sociology and politics, and a minor in Poverty and Human Capability Studies. During her time as a student Jenny was heavily involved in the local community.  When the Campus Kitchen coordinator position opened in her senior year she jumped at the opportunity to continue to live and work in the Rockbridge area. 

In her current role, Jenny advises Volunteer Venture and the Nabors Service League while managing communications and events for the Shepherd Program. She completed a Graduate Certificate in Restorative Justice from EMU's Center for Justice and Peacebuilding in August 2023 and now serves as an instructor for POV 102.
