Ryan joined the Shepherd program in 2019 as the Campus Kitchen Coordinator following his graduation from Washington and Lee in 2018. As an undergraduate student Ryan was heavily involved in the Shepherd program. He was a member of the Bonner Program, a four-year member of the Campus Kitchen Leadership Team, and a Kitchen Operations Intern with CKWL each of his three undergraduate summers. As a student Ryan studied Engineering and Studio Art (some of his paintings are on display in Mattingly). Ryan is extremely excited to continue the hunger fighting work he started as an undergrad, and to work with student leaders to expand the scope of the kitchen.
