Michelle joined Washington & Lee in April 2008 as Assistant to the Dean of the College. Prior to working at W&L she worked in telecommunications in the Northern Virginia area and most recently for a design-build organization in Springfield, VA.

Michelle supports Associate Dean LaRiviere with academic programs including teacher-scholar cohorts, mini-grants, faculty support programs, and summer research grants; Associate Dean Beanland with budget planning, space planning, and faculty conference travel and Associate Dean Gertz on strategic initiatives planning.   She is also responsible for Courses and Degrees administration and contracts/agreements.
