Kim Hodge joined Washington and Lee in January 2013. Since then, she has served as an adjunct professor, the Director of Sustainability, and now as an Assistant Dean of Students. As the Director of Sustainability, she developed a student-led office and found that working with students is the best part of W&L. As Assistant Dean of Students, she works with first-year students, facilitates the Leading Edge program, and sits on the University Sustainability Committee.
Kim has a B.S. in Environmental Studies from Shenandoah University, M.S. in Strategic Public Relations with a concentration in Environmental Policy from Virginia Commonwealth University, and a PhD in Human Dimensions of Natural Resource Management from Virginia Tech. She loves books, food (especially baking), and all things music and art.
