Panhellenic Council

Washington and Lee University is proud to have six outstanding Panhellenic groups on campus: Alpha Delta Pi, Chi Omega, Delta Society, Kappa Alpha Theta, Kappa Kappa Gamma, and Pi Beta Phi. As the governing body of the five NPC sororities, and one local Panhellenic Associate organization (Delta Society), the Panhellenic Council consists of nine executive officers and a delegate from each chapter represented on campus.

The Washington and Lee Panhellenic Council serves to enact positive change within our campus community, as well as promote active and engaged involvement of sorority women in university life. In collaboration with our six member chapters, as well as the Interfraternity Council, NPHC Council, and the division of Student Affairs, Panhellenic Council's primary goal is to serve as a proactive and educational resource for Greek students and those who are interested in Greek Life at W&L.

In the conceptualization and execution of many Panhellenic sponsored initiatives and programs during the academic year, our council provides Panhellenic and Panhellenic Associate member chapters with opportunities for both individual and organizational development. We encourage good scholarship, maintenance of high standards, and the furtherance of harmonious relations within the greater Rockbridge County Area.
