Greek Organizations

Washington and Lee has 12 national fraternities: 10 are part of the Interfraternity Council (IFC), and 2 are members of the National Pan-Hellenic Council also referred to as NPHC or historically black Greek organizations.

Washington and Lee has 8 sororities: 5 are part of the National Panhellenic Conference (NPC), 2 are historically black Greek organizations, governed by the National Pan-Hellenic Council (NPHC) and 1 is a local organization.
