SFHB Decisions, 2012-2013
On November 6, 2012, the SFHB met to consider allegations against an undergraduate student of Sexual Misconduct and Conduct Unbecoming of a Washington & Lee student.
The SFHB thoroughly reviewed the investigative report, appendices and addendum, asked follow-up questions of the investigators, and heard from the parties. By a vote of 3 to 1, the board found the evidence insufficient to show that there was a policy violation.
On December 7, 2012, the SFHB met to consider allegations against a student of Sexual Misconduct and Conduct Unbecoming of a Washington & Lee student.
The SFHB thoroughly reviewed the investigative report, appendices and addendum, asked follow-up questions of the investigators and heard from the parties. The Board applied the reasonable person standard, and by a vote of 4 to 0, found no policy violation.
On February 4, 2013, the SFHB met to consider allegations against a student of Sexual Misconduct and Conduct Unbecoming of a Washington & Lee student.
The SFHB thoroughly reviewed the investigative report, appendices and addendum, asked follow-up questions of the investigators and heard directly from the respondent. By a vote of 4-0 the Board found a violation of the policy and dismissed the respondent from Washington & Lee effective immediately.
