Shuttles are available for University departments to reserve for candidates, guests, faculty and staff business trips, as well as class and group trips.
Procedures
Make an initial call (or email) to discuss the departmental need with the Transportation Coordinator at extension 8167.
Fill out the reservation form with the information discussed with the Transportation Coordinator.
For large groups and class trips, please submit a list of participants and any special accommodations needed (luggage, equipment, etc.) to shuttle@wlu.edu.
Any additional questions or updates, please contact the Transportation Coordinator.
Reservations should be made for individuals no less than 10 days prior to travel.
Reservations for classes or large groups should be made no less than 30 days prior to travel.
Departments will be billed via journal entry in Workday within the first two weeks of the month following travel.
Tipping your driver is neither required nor expected.
Costs
Shuttle costs will be for the actual cost incurred to pay the Driver's salary plus the federal mileage rate per mile.
Shuttle costs are based on a one-way trip.
The estimated amounts are listed below, but are subject to change or differ depending upon pickup and/or drop-off location changes.
