University Department Shuttle Use

Shuttles are available for University departments to reserve for candidates, guests, faculty and staff business trips, as well as class and group trips.

Procedures

  • Fill out the Faculty/Staff Shuttle Request form
    • Please make sure to fill out all required infromation (ensure billing code is included)
  • Please contact Shuttle@wlu.edu, if you have any questions.
  • For large groups and class trips, please submit a form and include a detailed itinerary, list of participants, and any special accommodations needed (luggage, equipment, etc.) in the additional infomration section.
  • Any additional questions or updates, please contact the Transportation Coordinator.
  • Reservations should be made for individuals no less than 10 days prior to travel.
  • Reservations for classes or large groups should be made no less than 20 days prior to travel.
  • Once recieved, a responce will be sent within 5 buisness days
  • Departments will be billed via journal entry in Workday within the first two weeks of the month following travel.
  • Tipping your driver is neither required nor expected.

Costs

  • Shuttle costs will be for the actual cost incurred to pay the Driver's salary, the federal mileage rate per mile, tolls, parking, or fees required for the trip.
    • Trips before 6 am or after 12 am (midnight) are billed at Driver Overtime Rates.
  • Airport or Class trips are a round trip. (One way trips are unavailable) 
  • The estimated amounts are listed below, but are subject to change or differ depending upon pickup and/or drop-off location changes.
