Mail Services FAQ
How do I receive mail while I'm at school?
Since W&L is only a block away from the Lexington Post Office, the University does not maintain a mail room for students. You can reserve a PO Box through the USPS website or directly from the Lexington Post Office. If you want to receive packages shipped via FedEx, UPS, DHL, etc. during the school year, you can send those to yourself at the University. Just make sure they're addressed properly as below:
Student Name 'Class Year
c/o Campus Mail Services
Residence Hall and Room Number
Washington and Lee University
204 West Washington Street
Lexington, VA 24450-2116
See the Mail Services website for more information. When a package arrives, Mail Services will notify the student via W&L email with pickup instructions.
How do I send a package over the summer to meet me at school when I arrive?
