I noticed that the residence halls are closed for winter break. Where do winter athletes stay during this time?

Winter athletes whose coaches require the team to be on campus are given special permission to remain in the residence halls. The coaches each send a list to The Office of Residential Life, and our office supplies Public Safety with the list of approved winter break residents.

I haven't been "recruited." Can I still play sports at W&L?

Generally, yes. The best way to get recruited is to contact the coach. They will let you know what you need to do to try out for a varsity team.
