1890 Miley Photograph

As Robert E. Lee's personal photographer, Michael Miley spent a good deal of time in Lexington. He took this picture of the Liberty Hall ruins circa 1890. From the artifacts recovered near the ruins, we know the site received many visitors including Federal and Confederate Civil War troops and cadets from Virginia Military Institute.
