PE 195 Rock Climbing
Course Description
This course is intended to provide students with the opportunity to develop fundamental knowledge and skills for setting up Rock Climbing anchors, belaying techniques and rappelling situations. Students will gain knowledge and skills necessary for safe, efficient On-Rock experiences.
Course Requirements
Students will be required to show proficiency in all hard skills taught. Students must also show good judgment, participate and be willing to receive feedback on technical aspects taught in class. Prepare for rain or shine, gathering props and necessary equipment prior to class meeting, as all weekday classes will be taught outside in various locations. Missing any part of the class unexcused will result in a failing grade.
