The Gayla
The Gayla is held annually in March on W&L's campus. Students from other colleges in Virginia attend this event with W&L students and members of the W&L community.
2025 Gayla: "Hunny, We Shrunk the Queens!"
Step into a world where everything is larger than life-except the queens! Join us for a night of dazzling performances, electrifying energy, and larger-than-life advocacy at our 2025 LGBTQ Equality Gala: "Hunny, We Shrunk the Queens!" Inspired by the classic films Honey, I Shrunk the Kids and Toy Story, this unforgettable evening will transport you into a whimsical wonderland where pint-sized royalty pack gigantic talent, heart, and impact.
Expect death-dropping drag performances, oversized props straight from Andy's Room, and an evening dedicated to supporting equality and inclusion. Whether you're a glamorous space ranger, a fabulous cowpoke, or a sassy Mx. Potato Head, bring your best toy-inspired lewks and prepare for a night that proves-no matter the size-our voices, our love, and our community are unstoppable!

Click the link below to register for your Gayla tickets. Each ticket is $10, and you will recieve an email after completing the form below with instructions on payment methods. Please be aware - if you register for a ticket and do not pay, you will not be granted admission. Payment options include:
Credit Card/Debit Card via PayPal link - PayPal option ends Thursday March 20th. If you would like to pay with a CC/DC after the 20th, you will pay at the door.
W&L Student Swipe & Cash - QLA will be hosting tables in Universiy Commons leading up to the Gala. Check the QLA instagram for more information (@wluqla). Student Swipe and Cash options will also be available at the door.
