LIFT - The Low-Income, First-Generation Team LIFT @ W&L

The Low-Income, First-Generation Team - or LIFT - is dedicated to creating a supportive community for First Gen and/or Low-Income (FGLI) students. We will advocate for FGLI issues on campus as well as organize resources, events, and meetup groups.

LIFT, the Low-Income, First-Generation Team, at Washington and Lee is comprised of students who identify as first-generation, low-income, or an ally for those students. On campus, we work closely with the Office of Inclusion and Engagement to host events ranging from the First Gen Day in November to workshops and meetings. As first-generation and low-income students, we are really excited to have you on campus, and if you have any questions about W&L, move-in day, life on campus, or anything at all please reach out to our email: wlulift@mail.wlu.edu.
