CBL Internships

Community-Based Learning interns are partnered with a community organization over the summer to complete specific projects and initiatives. This experience aims to fulfill community partners' organizational goals and provide students with professional development and education about community organizing. CBL interns work twenty-five hours a week for seven weeks in the summer at a community-based organization and meet with their cohort once a week for training and reflection.

Hull's Drive-In Theatre - Veronika Kolosova, '25
Hull's Drive-In Theatre is only one of six drive-ins operating in Virginia, and a non-profit organization. Built in the 1950's, Hull's Drive-In Theatre has been a part of the Rockbridge area community for more than 70 years.

The Advancement Foundation, The Virginia Innovation Accelerator (VIA)  - Janae Darby, '25
The Advancement Foundation, The Virginia Innovation Accelerator (VIA) provides start-up training for emerging entrepreneurs, helps launch and identify funding for new small businesses, and creates and cultivates local and regional economic prosperity.
