Prospective Students
Washington and Lee is a unique liberal arts university where undergraduate students have the opportunity to conduct real, inquiry-based research alongside faculty members. Like various other labs and programs of study on campus, students may become involved in our lab research by means of:
- Directed Individual Research: During the academic year, each student conducts primary research in partnership with a neuroscience or psychology faculty member (1, 2, 3 or 4 credits).
- Summer Research Scholars: Enables students to spend the summer doing research full-time with the faculty scientists of their choice.
- Levy Neuroscience Endowment: A grant specifically geared to fund neuroscience research collaboration between a student and faculty member during the summer.
