University Wind Ensemble

The University Wind Ensemble is a symphonic band that is open to students and area residents. The Wind Ensemble presents at least two concerts on campus each year and takes tours in the US and abroad. Christopher Dobbins is the director.

The UWE tours on alternate years overseas during the April spring break. In the past, the Ensemble has traveled to Germany, Norway, Denmark, Japan, Greece, Australia, Russia and Brazil. Membership is open to all university students, regardless of major.
