Ray Zubler is a graduate of Arizona State University and the University of Illinois where he studied both saxophone and bassoon under the mentorship of Elizabeth Thompson, Charles Argersinger, Jack Rausch and Sanford Berry.

He has performed in multiple musical organizations and venues including the Sun City Symphony, Danville Symphony, Tempe Civic Orchestra, Swing Memories Big Band and Phoenix Union Jazz Bands, and has years of directing various instrumental and choral groups. These include performances with music legends such as Doc Severinsen, Peter Nero and Henry Cuesta. Ray has recently relocated from Arizona to Virginia and has performed with the Valley Chamber Orchestra and Roanoke College Jazz and Wind Ensembles.
