Lacey R. Lynch is an Instructor of Music at Washington and Lee University and conductor of Cantatrici. She holds a Masters of Music Education degree from James Madison University and Bachelor of Music degree from Concordia College, where she studied conducting with Dr. René Clausen. In addition to her position at Washington and Lee, Professor Lynch has 19 years of choral, instrumental and general music teaching experience in both public and private schools, grades preschool to twelve, and is currently teaching at Natural Bridge Elementary School in Rockbridge County.

Professor Lynch is also the artistic director of the Rockbridge Youth Chorale, a community youth choral program for children and youth preschool through twelfth grade. Experienced in both Kodály and Orff-Schulwerk, Professor Lynch welcomes to her classroom and youth choirs numerous music education students from both Washington and Lee University and Southern Virginia University, serving as a mentor to future music educators and choral conductors. She is a member of the American Orff-Schulwerk Association (AOSA), American Choral Directors Association (ACDA), National Association for Music Education (NAfME), Virginia Highlands Orff-Schulwerk Association (VHAOSA), and the Virginia Music Educators Association (VMEA).
