Adjoa Boateng Evans, MD, MPH is an anesthesiologist and critical care physician. She received her undergraduate degree in the History of Science and Medicine from Yale University, later returning to Yale New Haven Hospital where she underwent residency in anesthesiology, then completing a critical care fellowship at Stanford Health Care. Thereafter, she was appointed to faculty at Stanford working in the intensive care units and operating rooms while also teaching a humanities course, Reflections and Contextual Medicine.
Dr. Boateng Evans is a writer, mother, TEDx speaker and intensive care physician who seeks to restore humanism into healthcare.
