W&L Community Events

While most Mudd Center events are free and open to the public, some events are restricted to Washington and Lee students, faculty, and staff. These events are listed below.

Friday Lunchtime Seminars

On select Fridays throughout the year (typically on the Friday following major public lectures) the Mudd Center will sponsor lunchtime seminars in which students, faculty, and staff are encouraged to come together to discuss the ethical issues raised by that week’s talk.

First Tuesday Ethics Chats

Members of the Washington and Lee community are invited to stop by the Mudd Center on the main floor of Mattingly Hall on the first Tuesday of every month during the academic year any time between 8:30-10:00am.
