Known for their adventurous spirit, Transient Canvas has commissioned over 90 new works, pushing the boundaries of what is possible with bass clarinet, marimba, and electronics. Their performances transform these two instruments into a surprisingly rich and expansive soundscape. Praised by The Boston Globe as "superb" and by Cleveland Classical for their "engaging musicality and easy sense of ensemble," the duo continues to captivate audiences and critics alike. Their critically acclaimed albums-including Wired, Sift, and Right now, in a second-feature compositions from some of today's most exciting voices in new music.

A highlight of their upcoming performance will be Lament, a powerful new work composed for the duo by Terry Vosbein, showcasing the ensemble's expressive range and emotional depth.
