Michael McLaughlin '23 of Alexandria, Virginia will present a recital featuring the bass arias from JS Bach's BWV 73 and BWV 97 cantatas as well as five of Antonín Dvořák's Biblical Songs, Op. 99. Following the Count's aria from Le nozze di Figaro, McLaughlin will sing Ravel's Cinq mélodies populaires grecques and the Gambling Songs of the American folklorist and composer, John Jacob Niles. He is a student of Dr. Gregory Parker.
