Garrison Famiglio '26, baritone, will present his senior voice recital on April 4, 2026 at 8 p.m. in Wilson Concert Hall at Washington and Lee University.
The performance is free and open to the public and will be streamed online at https://go.wlu.edu/livestream. The doors to Wilson Concert Hall will open 30 minutes prior to the event.
The recital will begin with a performance of Johannes Brahms' Zigeunerlieder (Gypsy Songs), Op. 103, followed by the aria "Ya mis horas felices" from the Spanish operetta, La del soto del Parral. After singing Francis Poulenc's quirky and charming song cycle, Le Bestiaire, ou Cortège d'Orphée (The Beastiary, or the Procession of Orpheus), Garrison will close the recital with songs by American and English composers.
A native of State College, Pennsylvania, Garrison is pursuing the Bachelor of Arts in Music degree with a minor in German. He is a Johnson Scholar who has participated in the Glee Club, University Singers and Choral Conducting Mentorship Program. He is an applied voice student of Dr. Gregory Parker. Outside of academics, Garrison pursues triathlon, racing for Kú Cycle and Girona Racing Academy.
