Bill Zheng is a double major in music and economics from Ningbo, China. The program features jazz standards by Desmond, Hefti, and Strayhorn, alongside Zheng's original compositions and arrangements. This recital marks a significant moment in Zheng's musical journey and is a testament to the support he has received at W&L. He has studied percussion with Professors Shelby Shelton and Josh Sheppard, and applied improvisation with Professor Ray Zubler. Dr. Akiko Konishi serves as his major advisor, while Dr. Chris Dobbins is his thesis advisor.
