A Grand Celebration: Shostakovich and Daugherty University-Shenandoah Symphony Orchestra

A great season comes to a close with music from our time, a Red Cape Tango "danced" by Superman, the virtuositic Cello Concerto No. 1 by Shostakovich performed by Daniel Hsu'14, and the towering Symphony No. 12 ("The Year 1917") by the same Russian master.
