Alex Fthenakis received his MA in Acting (Classical and Contemporary Text) at the Royal Scottish Academy of Music and Drama. Residencies include Shakespeare's Globe and Will Geer Theatricum Botanicum.
Alex’s writing includes RISK and an adaptation of John Steinbeck’s To A God Unknown. He is producer and faculty for the award-winning Pepperdine Scotland theater exchange, which brings together American students and Scottish theater artists to create productions for the Edinburgh Festival Fringe.
Acting credits include: The role of Petruchio in The Taming of the Shrew; Bassianus in Titus Andronicus with Bard in the Botanics; and the world premiere of Heuristics in the Diner, a new Peter Arnott play about nuclear physicist and communist spy Klaus Fuchs. The Klaus Fuchs project toured the Tron, Hampstead, and Traverse theaters.
