By the critically acclaimed Wendy MacLeod, The House of Yes centers on a family’s Thanksgiving Day encounter with an outsider. Marty’s engagement to Lesly is a threat to the well-being of his family and especially to his twin sister, Jackie-O, who has only recently been released from a mental hospital and wants her brother’s affection all to herself. To make matters worse the twins’ younger brother Anthony has dropped out of Princeton, and their mother has a serious problem handling any of this. The House of Yes is a fascinating and sometimes disturbing display of the quirks every family has—and how these quirks will eventually come to a head.
