SOLO3 W&L's Third Film Showcase

Washington and Lee Department of Theater, Dance and Film Studies presents our third film showcase, SOLO3 at W&L’s Stackhouse Movie Theater on Wednesday evening, December 2, at 7:30 p.m. Tickets are not required, but the Stackhouse Theater has limited seating, so be sure to get there early. Who knows? You might be seeing a new movie star in the making!

Our student actors and film editors in SOLO3 include Ryley Goldworthy ’16, Stellings Lee ’18, Laura Noker ’16, Patrick Robertson ’17, Shaun Soman ’17, Katrina Spiezio ’17, and Amanda Wahlers ’18.


To create SOLO3, students developed individual performance pieces for the movie and worked on digitally editing the film. The individual student performances, which range from the funny to the tragic, were filmed in various locations on campus. SOLO3 is a digital film project for the one credit course Film Performance Laboratory, FILM 109, taught by professor Joseph Martinez.
