Parents and Family Weekend:  CHORAL CONCERT

Featuring the University Singers, Men’s Glee Club and Catatrici

Come kick off the choral season at Washington and Lee University with the University Singers, Men’s Glee Club and Cantatrici in the first concert under the direction of guest conductor Morgan Luttig ’14 . Following pieces performed by Cantatrici and the Men’s Glee Club, the combined women of the W&L choral program will perform the haunting Northern Lights by Ola Gjeilo, and the combined choral program men will join to perform Cover Me with the Night by Andrea Ramsey. The University Singers will premiere pieces from their upcoming Scotland tour program, including a new composition, Peace Song (Beatitudes) by Tim Brent. The concert will round out with a combined arrangement of Will the Circle Be Unbroken, to bring a bit of the Shenandoah Valley to parents and family in the audience.

Tickets are free, but required and available only to current W&L students and families. Call the Lenfest Center Box office at 540-458-8000 to reserve tickets. 

Tickets are forfeited if not seated 5 MINUTES prior to beginning of the performance.
